Unit Calculator Instructions

The unit calc program is a series of input - result boxes for different unit conversions. You enter values in the boxes in the left column and see the results of the conversion in the right column.

Example:
feet = inches

Follow along using the sample conversion shown at right:

Begin by clicking your mouse in the left box labeled "feet".
Type in the quantity, in feet, that you want to convert to inches (for example, 7).
Press the tab key or click your mouse anywhere on the page outside of the left box.

The result of the conversion will appear in the right box labeled "inches" (in our example, the answer is 84).

You can reverse the conversion by entering a number into the box in the right column, following the same steps.

We suggest you use your web browser's "Find" feature to quickly locate a desired conversion within the page.
