    locking device for flex circuit

    Hi,

I am looking for a plastic, mechanical locking tab solution, some kind of simple snap clip for flex circuit. To locate and hold in place a flexible circuit in a plastic house. Any help appriciated,

    Thanks

If a flex is placed over locating pins molded into the plastic, you may be able to use a pressure sensitive adhesive patch on the circuit to hold it in place.  If the environment is more demanding you might find that potting is advantageous.

    Thanks,

Locating tabs are ok, but the pressure sensitive adhesive patch, (like double sided tape) won't work because the circuit inside the plastic cover facing down and the environment... I should consider vibration. So, I need a mechanical locking solution to hold the artwork in place. (plastic screws, are too time consuming). And I try to avoid undercuts in the plastic housing, for standard snap fits.

    Any idea greatly appriciated!
