    Expert Answers?

How long does it usually take to get an answer from a Minco "expert"?  I've been waiting for a response to an email question for 4 days.

I would just call Minco, if you have a technical question it can be directed to the correct person.

Post your question in the discussion forum. Maybe somebody here can answer it.

    Cool [H] Re: Expert Answers?

Minco has a coordinator that routes "Ask the Expert" questions to the appropriate product managers. They will respond to the questions directly if they have the answer, but many times they need to solicit other expert advice from E2E engineering for that product area. Many questions are responded to in the same or next day, but those that require more effort will take longer. Involved questions also need to fit into other work priorities.

If a matter is really urgent to you, you probably should call and get an inside sales engineer to help you. They can address a wide variety of issues and know who to go to for more information.

Some tips that will help speed a response to your "Ask the Expert" question...

    1) State the level of urgency, i.e. when is a response needed.

    2) Include your personal contact information (name, company, phone number) so that Minco can better serve you. Some questions are best handled over the phone where more information is required for Minco to provide a response.

    3) Include sufficient detail  for the expert to understand the scope of your issue and make a recommendation. Many times there are several ways to achieve an objective and some of those details could impact which is the best path to follow.
