    Freezestats

I've heard about problems installing freezestats (like an A11 or other 10 to 20 ft gas filled low temp cut-outs), specifically with kinking of the case, or pinhole leaks, that kind of thing. Is this a frequent problem, like one out of ten, or is it kind of rare and not really an issue?

    Re: Freezestats

Kinking is definately a problem for us, espcially during annual calibration when the tube is removed and reinstalled in the mixed air chambers. We have more of a problem with nuissance freeze stat trips due to improper calibration and/or improper install.
