what will be the material composition levels of any part after some years usage.

    hi friends,

i have a one doubt, regarding the material composition.

what will be the material composition level of any elctronic part or product after some years of usage.and will be the condition of hazardous substances existing in the part(whether it will reduce or increase). if it so, then how to find the material composition details.

can it posible to create the standard forms or template for those generic electronic parts.

please give some ideas for this problem, since i am working with implementation of WEEE in the electronic part after their and of life .

    with regards,

    And.n

I don't know of any attempts to analyze for any potential change in composition due to some environmental variables a device is exposed to over its life cycle. I would do an internet search for "recycling passport" to find many completed forms that can be used as examples of how companies have tried to comply with this requirement. The forms are itemized whether any hazardous materials may be present, what components they may be present in and the locations of these components in the device.

Information in the recycling passport is to facilitate dismantling, treatment, recycling and disposal of a product at its end of life. The information is targeted specifically to the recycling and waste treatment facilities to provide them the best information on how to process the disposed product.  The passport indicates which components may turn out to be problematic in treatment and recovery.
