    Hi all,

     I am doing research work related to wearable electronics. I would like to design a circuit in flexible PCB, which should be compatible with wearability issue.

    Will it produce any problem like crack, low elsaticity in flexible PCB when components soldered on it? The approximate size of the PCB will be 10sq cm. I need to place min 8 IC's, one controller, 64 SMD photodiodes.

    Is there any problem like low mechanical stability?

     Kindly help me..

    In todays world of RoHS compliant solders and processes, it would likely be inviting a problem to try to design a wearable electronic devices with all of these components on all flexible material. The photodiodes might be OK, but it seems like 8 ICs and a controller circuit being allowed to flex and bend would be a sure disaster with brittleness of these solders. Cracking would be expected to be a problem.
