    heating in a -55C ambient

I need to heat a pcb in a -55C ambient to -40C and to keep it at that temperature. I think to use a controller but I don't know that I can find a controller which can operate at -55C or are there any other way to do this. The dimension of the control system is also a problem for me. I will be glad, if anyone enlighten me about this topic.
    thank you.

Cool [H] Re: heating in a -55C ambient

Standard components used in most controller designs are rated to -40C. It is generally possible to obtain equivalent components with extended ratings to -55C. A controller built with these components would be a custom item. While generally possible to supply this, there is a question of feasibility. There would be a need for sufficient quantity to make the special build using lower temperature components practical. Small quantities would likely be very expensive and could cost more than the application can support.

The CT325 or CT198 type designs would probably lend themselves best to the lower temperatures. You could send Minco an inquiry with your basic specifications and quantity requirements for proposal.
