Minneapolis, MN, June 12, 2012—Minco, a global provider of flex circuits, heaters, sensors and instruments for advanced applications, today announced that they have received Nadcap accreditation for their flex circuits business. The accreditation was awarded to Minco after undergoing a comprehensive audit of its systems and processes. The achievement builds on our AS9100 certification and demonstrates the company’s commitment to satisfying customer requirements and industry specifications.
“Nadcap accreditation is a significant milestone for Minco, and provides independent validation of our commitment to instituting world-class quality systems and process controls,” noted Gary Ryan, director of Minco’s flex circuits business. “It is one of the many concrete steps we are taking to leverage the best technology and expertise to deliver the highest quality flex circuits to our customers in the aerospace, medical, defense and other demanding industries.”
“Achieving Nadcap accreditation is not easy: it is one of the ways in which the aerospace industry identifies those who excel at manufacturing quality product through superior special processes,” said Joe Pinto, vice president and chief operating officer of the Performance Review Institute (PRI). “Companies such as Minco work hard to obtain this status and they should be justifiably proud of it. PRI is proud to support continual improvement in the aerospace industry by helping companies be successful and we look forward to continuing to assist the industry moving forward.”
“Minco is proud to be recognized for our commitment to continuous improvement,” commented Dave Huyink, director of quality at Minco. “We pursued Nadcap accreditation to strengthen our quality systems and processes, and although this alone is a significant achievement, more importantly it marks our unwavering dedication to the pursuit of excellence.”
